The monocoque Zaion reel body ensures that the gear is mounted in the reel in a torsion-proof manner and ensures continued smooth running. Thanks to the monocoque housing, a larger drive wheel can be used than usual, thus achieving better power transmission and the service life of the gear unit. The CNC milled aluminum Tough Digigear gear is extremely resilient and ensures smooth running. The Magsealed construction on the axle reliably prevents salt water and dirt particles from penetrating the axle and increases the service life. The Longcast ABS spool made of aluminum has a special release edge that contributes to better casting distances.
