Bluewater is, as the name indicated, a hook for the real freight trains of the tropical salt. Giant trevally (GT’s), sailfish, marlin, barracudas, tarpon, tuna even sharks. This hooks has the point and the strength to handle everything you care to throw a fly at. Aside from tropical species, the larger sizes from 5/0 – 8/0 are excellent for tying the largest of bunker/huge baitfish patterns for targeting giant stripers on fly (think Beast Fleyes).
