Avet Reels proudly produces aluminum lever drag reels right here in the USA. These reels are known for their usage on the west coast for casting on Long Range style fishing trips.This modelis commonly known as the Hoo-X. Here in the Northeast, we like to use the HXJ 5/2 as a jigging reel for tunas, and other hard-fighting species. This is also a useful reel for white marlin and sailfish purposes. The reels that we carry here DO NOT have the drag lever Glide Plate.
