The Centaur Chiron Big Game Popping Rod is theperfectweapon forcasting plugs to large, hard fighting pelagics like Tuna and Giant Trevally. These rods are built on blanks constructed from the highest grade Toray Carbon available. The use of Fuji Silicon Carbide guides assures low friction for casting, and the highest durability when used with braided line. We offer these with either Fuji K-Frame (KW) style, or Fuji “MN” style guides. The EVA foam grips are ergonomic, and when combined with a non-slip textured reel seat it makes for a rod thatis not only powerful, but dextrous. All rods in this series are 2 piece, with a hidden joint at the foregrip. This truly is the ultimate rod for fishing poppers and stickbaits for big game species!
