Grumpys Tackle is proud to present our own factory built surf rod, the Sandstorm.

Born on the Jersey shore, but useful anywhere there is water. Designed by our in-house rod Builder, Bob Hryszko, Sandstorm rods are built with high quality Fuji components, including tangle free K-Guides. The reel seat has a locking ring so that loose reels will be a thing of the past. The rod comes with a one year limited warranty.

We have three models, the original 9 foot rod rated forfor 3/4 to 3 oz lures, a 10’6 inch model rated for1 to 5 oz lures, and a new 7’10” model rated for to 2 oz. The 9′ and 10’6″ are two piece rods with an approximate 65/35 split. The 7’10” is a one piece blank.
