Created by Utah-based fly fishing guide Spencer Higa, the SOS is abaetis pattern that does a great job of checking the boxes for bothan attractor and an imitative fly. The SOS is an excellent searchernymph for prospecting new water. It can also be used to stand out to(but not raise the alarm for) fish munching their way through a thickbaetis hatch.
