The Biocraft XT Fly rods are aimed at fly anglers who have a limited budget but still want excellent casting performance and character. Covering traditional stream and stillwater trout fly fishing methods, there are also three Big Bug/Saltwater predator models and a stunning nymph model.
If you are a fly angler who prefers not to spend a monthly pay cheque on a single rod, youre not alone. There are thousands of anglers just like you, which is why we have developed the Biocraft XT range. Completely reliable, with a fantastic weight to strength ratio, the Biocraft XT really comes alive in your hands and is a match for rods costing considerably more. If you are a stream angler youll appreciate the finesse, if you are a stillwater angler youll love the penetrating casting performance and for predator or saltwater anglers the Biocraft XT has all of the power youll ever need.
Each Biocraft XT rod has a Full Carbon blank that is enhanced with Biofibre and Diaflash. This combination results in the fantastic weight to strength ratio and also adds additional resilience in the more powerful models, enabling them to be used safely for large predators and ultra fast saltwater species.
The rods have been designed and tested by the same team of experts that worked on the premium Biocraft XR range, so as you would expect there are hints of excellence scattered throughout the range. The fittings on each rod have been selected for their performance characteristics based on the rods application. Seaguide and Fuji Alconite guides ensure lightness combined with strength, Seaguide reel seats blend perfectly with the traditional cork handles and every rod comes with a velvet bag. All models are 3 or 4 sectioned for convenient transportation.
